EBRD sells 9.245% in Russia’s TransContainer April 6 – company

MOSCOW, Apr 15 (PRIME) -- The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has sold its entire 9.245% stake in Russian container shipping company TransContainer on April 6, the company said in a statement on Friday.

On Tuesday, Kommersant business daily reported that the EBRD sold the stake to non-government pension fund Blagosostoyanie for 2.75 billion rubles. Following the deal, Blagosostoyanie raised its stake in TransContainer to over 20%.
